Renewable-energy alignment
Assess local solar generation, battery availability and grid conditions as part of the site's overall energy profile.
SolarCompute / Become a host
SolarCompute connects suitable computing machines with a distributed network designed to work alongside rooftop solar, battery storage and available energy. Hosting starts with the right site, the right hardware and a clear operating arrangement.
An operating foundation
SolarCompute has an operating network foundation at a residential solar-powered site, with computing machines and energy monitoring already in use. Expanding to additional host locations is subject to technical assessment, onboarding and suitable commercial arrangements.
Assess local solar generation, battery availability and grid conditions as part of the site's overall energy profile.
Only machines and configurations approved for network workloads are eligible to participate.
The SolarCompute platform coordinates compatible machines, job allocation and operational monitoring.
Hosting pathways
Participation may take different forms depending on equipment ownership, site capabilities and the arrangement approved by SolarCompute.
Approved sites may host SolarCompute-managed equipment under an agreed deployment and operating model. Availability and responsibilities are determined case by case.
Owners of suitable computing hardware may explore joining the network, subject to hardware compatibility, software requirements, safety checks and participation terms.
How hosting works
We consider power, connectivity, physical space, cooling, safety and the proposed hosting model.
Equipment and operating arrangements must meet SolarCompute's applicable technical and onboarding requirements.
Once approved and configured, eligible machines can receive suitable workloads according to availability and platform demand.
What makes a suitable host
Not every home, business or machine will be suitable. SolarCompute evaluates proposed participation against practical requirements and the network's current needs.
Commercial clarity
Any host compensation or revenue-sharing arrangement depends on the relevant agreement, actual workload demand, operating costs and other applicable conditions. SolarCompute does not guarantee earnings, machine utilisation or a particular return.
Renewable-powered operation does not, by itself, establish a verified carbon reduction or zero-emission outcome. Environmental performance requires appropriate measurement and accounting.
